EDMR Therapy
Release the Past. Step Into Confidence, Calm and Emotional Freedom
Precise Nervous-System Work That Unlocks Lasting Freedom and Confidence
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) is a powerful, evidence-based therapy that helps the brain safely process unresolved experiences so they no longer drive anxiety, self-doubt, emotional reactivity, or loss of confidence. Approved by NICE in the UK for the treatment of PTSD, EMDR is also widely used for trauma, anxiety, phobias, performance challenges, and emotional blocks.
In my practice, EMDR is applied as precision work at the subconscious and nervous-system level — there’s no endless talking, analysing, or reliving the past. Sessions are tailored to your goals, helping you reclaim calm, confidence, and control in your personal and professional life.

How EMDR Works
EMDR works directly with how your brain stores distressing experiences. Rather than repeating events, it reprocesses memories safely so they no longer trigger emotional or physical reactions. The memory remains, but the emotional charge is gone.
What this means for you:
Release old fears, trauma, past pain events, and limiting patterns
Reclaim confidence, calm, and self-trust naturally
Step into personal and professional life without being held back by the past
In a session, you can expect:
Safe, personalised guidance at your pace
No need to share intimate details unless you choose to
Face-to-face or remote sessions to suit your schedule
Clear pathways to release blocks and restore emotional balance
EMDR allows your brain and nervous system to repattern old responses, creating lasting freedom from emotional patterns that hold you back.
What EMDR Can Help With
While EMDR is best known for PTSD, it is also highly effective for:
Trauma and PTSD (single-event or complex)
Childhood abuse, neglect, or emotional wounds
Anxiety, panic attacks, and general stress
Phobias, fears, and performance anxiety
Relationship challenges and low self-esteem
Grief, loss, or bereavement
Anger, guilt, or emotional reactivity
Chronic pain or psychosomatic responses
Cravings, addictions, or compulsive behaviours
Confidence, leadership presence, and visibility challenges
Negative emotions, past trauma and negative thinking..
Plus whatever you are dealing with…
EMDR works neurologically — your brain processes distressing experiences so they no longer trigger fear, shame, or self-doubt — giving you lasting emotional freedom and confidence.

The number of sessions depends on your goals, the complexity of the experiences, and your nervous system’s response.
Some clients see significant changes in just 1–3 sessions, while others benefit from a more tailored program. The focus is always on fast, lasting, and sustainable transformation, rather than prolonged therapy.

Each session will last an average of 75 – 90 mins.
Each EMDR session is personalised and results-focused.
We will work on any topic you’d like or multiple topics. When you decide which topic. We will work to release negative emotions, memories or experiences that are impacting your confidence, emotional balance, or performance — without having to relive or explain them in detail.
Sessions involve gentle eye movements or other bilateral stimulation while you focus on these experiences, allowing your nervous system to reprocess them. Most clients notice a shift in how they feel and respond by the end of the session — a sense of calm, clarity, and renewed self-trust. You remain fully in control throughout, and the pace is tailored to your needs.

Absolutely. Your journey is private and held in a safe, non-judgemental space.
Before my EMDR session, I would get incredibly nervous introducing myself and my business to peers and former colleagues. My heart would race, and I constantly feared making a mistake or saying the wrong thing — and I didn’t even know where that anxiety was coming from. During the session, I released old baggage tied to my childhood and long-held feelings of being unsafe or ‘not enough.’
Now, I feel noticeably calmer and more confident in myself. It’s as if a heavy weight has been lifted/ I approach new situations with calm, certainty, and a sense of ease I never thought possible.

More Calm + Confident
I had EMDR for chocolate cravings, and I can honestly say how surprised and delighted I am — since my session, I no longer crave chocolate at all. It’s been a total game-changer for me, and I feel so much more in control and free. I never expected results this fast. I’m deeply grateful for the transformation.
